At mid-life, I’ve discovered I’m not the person I used to be. Oh, I still cherish my family (five sons: Dale, Mike, Chris, Dustin, Colton, three daughters in law: Kim, Rach and Nickie, and my oh-so-patient, incredibly loving and understanding husband, John), hate bugs and really hate spiders, and wish I hadn’t inherited my mother’s fine, thin hair. That part is still intact, which is good. I’d hate to start my life from scratch. But I’ve discovered a need to craft. And not just craft, but craft with a capital “C”. A day without crafting is a day with an emotional meltdown of mega-dimensions. That said, I’m not very original. Yet. So when I post something I’ve created, I’ll be sure to provide attribution when possible. Sometimes, though, I sorta-copy something I saw at some point but can’t find again. If one of my own “original” ideas looks familiar, let me know so I can give you all the credit you rightly deserve.
This blog won’t just be about crafting, though. No sirree. There will be plenty of personal (maybe too personal?) observations, thoughts, rants, and ramblings.
This blog is a work in progress, as am I. Ready for takeoff? Hang on! Here we go!
